Catholic Charities provides counseling services to anyone for whom outpatient treatment is the right choice, regardless of the ability to pay. They accept most third party insurance, and Medicaid, and Medicare, however there is a sliding scale to make counseling affordable. Services include:
- Outpatient counseling for persons with depression or have anxiety
- Counseling for individuals who may be recovering from substance abuse.
- Counseling for individuals who have had a sudden change in their life such as a job loss, death in the family, or a physical injury.

Brandywine Counseling

Brandywine Counseling provides holistic care to persons and their families living with addiction, mental health and HIV related challenges.
- Provides intervention and treatment through the use of medication, counseling, education, and referral to self-help groups.
- They are certified alcohol and drug counselors, licensed mental health practitioners, duel diagnosis counselors (CCDP), registered and licensed practical nurses, psychologist, and physicians.

Delaware Guidance Services for Children provides mental health services for children, youth, and their families. They believe that all children should have a right to good mental health and access to quality therapeutic care.

Delaware State Community Mental Health operates four centers across the state that provides services for those in need of assistance with Mental Health or Substance Abuse treatment and prevention. They are focused on each customer as well as being driven by a shared vision. Services include:
- Mental health treatment, community counseling and support services.
- Supported housing services that promote independent living and community integration.
- Mobile Crisis intervention services.

Rockford Center provides inpatient Services for adults, adolescents, and children who are experiencing acute behavioral health symptoms; and need intensive inpatient care.
- Rockford Center is a 24-hr assessment referral center no appointment needed or referral needed.
- The staff is highly trained with healthcare professionals including social workers, nurses, and counselors who provide immediate access to confidential help.
- Provides adult inpatient services as well as adolescents and children inpatient services.
