About Us
Freedom Center is a nonprofit organization created by and for people with disabilities. We are a resource and advocacy center that promotes independent living and equal access for people with all types of disabilities of any age.
Freedom Center connects Delawareans with disabilities with community services and resources that will enhance their independence while providing for support each individual needs to attain their desired goal.
Our purpose is to facilitate independent thought and action by people with disabilities. We promote the principle that each person has value. To this end, we provide the tools and supports for individuals to develop and discover their talents and abilities, and utilize their personal power to control their interactions with the environment, their families and their communities.
